Strengths-based coaching for neurodivergent children, teens, and the families who champion them — because thriving should never require masking who you are.
"Children don't need to be fixed — they need support that honors who they are."
— Jessie Hagood, Willow Rising Coaching
"Connection comes before compliance. Regulation comes before expectation. Every individual deserves to feel safe, understood, and empowered."
As a special education teacher and neurodiversity coach, I've spent years supporting autistic and ADHD students, families, and educators through the challenges that can come with executive functioning, emotional regulation, anxiety, social struggles, school demands, and self-confidence.
Along the way, I realized something important: these children don't need to be "fixed." They need support that honors who they are while giving them tools to succeed in everyday life.
My approach is strengths-based, compassionate, and practical. I believe connection comes before compliance, regulation comes before expectation, and every individual deserves to feel safe, understood, and empowered.
This work is deeply personal to me because I know the impact that understanding, advocacy, and the right support can have on a child's life. My goal is to create a space where neurodivergent individuals and their families feel seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
I work to help neurodivergent individuals build confidence, self-awareness, independence, and emotional resilience — while also helping families better understand and support their child's unique needs. Every session is tailored, intentional, and grounded in the belief that each child's differences are assets worth developing, not problems to solve.
We start with what's already working — your child's unique gifts, passions, and strengths — and build from there.
Regulation always comes before expectation. We create calm, safe spaces where children feel settled before we ask them to stretch.
Parents and caregivers are essential partners. I help families better understand their child's needs so growth continues well beyond our sessions.
Every child deserves a space where who they are is celebrated — not corrected. My work is always neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed.
Real strategies that work in real life — for school, home, and social settings. Coaching is only as good as what your child can actually use day-to-day.
Sessions follow the child's pace, interests, and energy. When kids feel heard and respected, incredible things happen — naturally.
Whether you're just starting to navigate a neurodivergent journey or looking for deeper, ongoing support — there's a place here for your family. Every offering is designed around your child's unique needs, not a one-size-fits-all program.
Personalized one-on-one sessions focused on building the skills, confidence, and self-awareness your child needs to navigate school, relationships, and daily life.
Practical guidance and compassionate support to help you better understand your child's neurology, strengthen your relationship, and build strategies that work at home.
Targeted support to help your child succeed in the school environment — from organizational systems and homework routines to managing social dynamics and academic pressure.
Drawing on years of special education experience, I partner with teachers, schools, and support staff to create more inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming environments where every student can thrive.
